Stranger the Fiction

Im reading the book Stranger then Fiction. one of the chapters is pretty interesting to me. Its about writers. Its interesting to me because i never really thought about the life of a writer. The author talks about writers that attend this event at a hotel Ballroom where you sit at a table divided by a curtain. On the other side of the curtain is a book agent or a publisher or movie producer. You have to pay up to $50 for 7 minutes to pitch your story to them. Its interesting to me how writers try to sell there stories. Trying to turn there misery into big money.
