Steven Wilkes

I thought that Steven Wilkes had a very neat gallery of Ellis Island. All of his pictures were of abandoned and discarded rooms inside the elaborate buildings on the Island of Death. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life. It showed what mankind has left behind, and reminds me of how I have left allot behind in my life. Only to move forward I have left those things behind yet the memories are still there to hold. All of the decrepid rooms made me feel so alive. I also really like a quote Steven had, "Until I cross that line, I'm still homeless. Still an immigrant".
