It was a really good weekend. Being home felt so good. I was real homesick. I wish it could have been longer, but i think that this program is really making me appreciate homelife and the people back home.
dont get too homesick. it will really take a toll on you trust me. it will be hard to deal with class, and social life if you are want to come home every weekend. i have a cousin who goes to alabama a&m and he comes home every other weekend. do u know how much gas that is? he is always broke because he is up here almost every weekend and doesnt want to find a job.
This blog is the backdrop site to a communication mania. Ideas, wisdom, questions, comments, and life experiences can be shared here in this semi-Columbia College Chicago English Bridge program section.
Also, the more you put into this blog, the more you will get out of it. This is a space that you create, and thus it is not an assignment but a home for creative thought and relationship building. One of the most important things you can do during Bridge is develop friendships with those artists around you. They can be the key to whether you sink your swim in Columbia.
P.S. Be respectful of people's posts. We aren't out to burn bridges.
