I really enjoyed our field trip yesterday. I didn't quite get the whole black and white section but when I moved over to the color section this one photo caught my attention, its called the isolation ward. The photo was of a red room with a single window in it. Outside the window were vines and trees blocking the view to this peaceful ocean.
I think the artist was trying to show how much contempt they have for the world because they can't be apart of it. Maybe the trees and vines represent obstacles that are keeping them from the world. Maybe the obstacles are his own.
