About the Blog

This blog is the backdrop site to a communication mania. Ideas, wisdom, questions, comments, and life experiences can be shared here in this semi-Columbia College Chicago English Bridge program section.

Also, the more you put into this blog, the more you will get out of it. This is a space that you create, and thus it is not an assignment but a home for creative thought and relationship building. One of the most important things you can do during Bridge is develop friendships with those artists around you. They can be the key to whether you sink your swim in Columbia.

P.S. Be respectful of people's posts. We aren't out to burn bridges.

Links

The links to the right are a basic and rushed list of websites and portals that will help you with your journey through Bridge and Columbia. They are in no means definite and the most amazing sites ever; like every other media source, they are only a sliver of the truth.

The first set of links, "Bridge Blogs", links you to your fellow students' blogs. Check them out, see what they are writing, comment, ask questions, and even post responses here.

The second set, "Columbia College Chicago", are links to help you see some cool things on our website. Check them out, your education may benefit from it.

The third set, "Chicago", is a quick set of links that may help you with navigating this amazing, and huge city. Even if you have lived here all your life, or if this is a new home and space to explore, there is something fantastic to see on these links. They are your gateway to the Windy City.

And the fourth set, "Necessary Surfing", is a combination of websites I have compiled over the years, and continue to use. Some of them maybe useful, some of them won't, but they will offer new points of view and avenues to explore. Especially if you check out Give Away The Ending, which if you read closely, you will find out that you may know one of the writers.

The last set, "Texts", are book reviews and links to the various places we will visit over the next four weeks.

These links can easily be added to, so email me the links you guys like and I will post them.
